Eklavya School
The Eklavya model residential schools are exclusively meant for teenaged tribal children. As many as 60 students are selected for admission into Class VII through an open entrance examination conducted by the state welfare department every year. Free education is then provided up to Class XII. No fee is charged for study material, uniform, lodging or food since the Centre provides funds not only for setting up the school building and hostel, but also for quality education to tribal children.
