Jharkhand Raksha Shakti University is first of its kind in eastern India and aims to provide- 
(i) Efficient, trained and professional manpower to meet the demand of Police and other security forces.

(ii) Opportunity to the youth of the State to build their career in State Police, Central police, military and other private security forces.

(iii) Training and building manpower to tackle the upcoming challenges from various types of offences such as terrorism, economic offence, cyber crime, telecommunication offence and the offences requiring expertise in forensic science.
